Become One With The Mountain
“Arise, and let us go up to Tsiyon, to יהוה our Elohim.” Jeremiah 31:6b ISR
“See, I lay in Tsiyon a chief corner-stone, chosen, precious,
and he who believes on Him shall by no means be put to shame.” 1 Peter 2:6
Acts of Love
Elohim is love. He sent His Son, Yeshua. to us to teach us to love. He was the perfect example of how Elohim loves people. He is our role model on how to love Elohim and others. You can read more about him in the Messianic Writings, also called the New Testament, as well as in other ancient writings.
“A renewed command I give to you, that you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all know that you are My taught ones, if you have love for one another.” John 13: 34-35 ISR
One of the ways Yeshua taught us to love is by meeting people's needs. He fed the hungry and encouraged His followers to treat the "poor" the same as they would "the rich" because value is not about financial wealth, it's about spiritual health and belief (James 2). Because of this, we plan to do community outreaches to help those in need in our community. Watch our events page (and our Facebook Group) for opportunities to help those in our community. Join us!
‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ Matthew 19:19b ISR
“My brothers, what use is it for anyone to say he has belief but does not have works? This belief is unable to save him. And if a brother or sister is naked and in need of daily food, but one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” but you do not give them the bodily needs, what use is it? So also belief, if it does not have works, is in itself dead.” James 2:14-17 ISR
